College Preview Days

    Our Fall 2021 College Preview Days will take place on Mondays between September 27th and October 25th.

    Guests will visit the "college of the day" based on their registration. First, you will hear a short presentation from our Recruitment Representatives and our Honors College. Then, you will head to your college based on your registration, to meet with representatives and learn more about the programs they offer. Next, guests will participate in an optional campus tour with one of our South Guides. This will include a look at our libraries, on-campus medical facilities, football stadium, and more! Lastly, guest will have the opportunity to browse the USA Bookstore, take photos at popular locations on campus, and ask any questions you may have!

    Below are the dates that each college will be featured. Select the name of the college that you are interested in to see a list of undergraduate academic majors and programs. You can use the calendar at the bottom of this page to register.

    September 27th
    College of Engineering and School of Computing

    October 4th
    Pat Capps Covey College of Allied Health and College of Nursing

    October 11th

    Mitchell College of Business and College of Education and Professional Studies


    October 18th

    College of Arts & Sciences - Social & Behavioral Sciences and Natural Sciences & Math
    • Social & Behavioral Sciences majors include: Anthropology, Communication, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Psychology, Social Work, and Sociology
    • Physical Sciences & Mathematics majors include: Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Meteorology, Mathematics & Statistics, and Physics
    October 25th
    College of Arts & Sciences - Humanities and Fine & Performing Arts 
    • Humanities majors include: History, English, Philosophy, International Studies, Modern & Classical Languages & Literature (French, German, Russian, and Spanish)
    • Fine & Performing Arts majors include: Fine Arts, Music, Art, and Drama

    As a reminder, students who attend this event will receive a $100 credit when they enroll at South. 

    To keep our university community and our guests safe, the following health procedures will be in place: 

    • Masks are required for all guests during portions of the event that take place indoors. Please note that per University guidelines, neck gaiters will not be considered an acceptable form of masking on campus. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to individuals who are positive we ask that you reschedule your visit to campus until you've receive medical clearance from a health care provider. 
    Space for each preview day is limited. Therefore, prior registration is required to participate. Students may bring up to two guests, but they must be listed on the event registration to participate. Once your registration is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.

    Please note: Our tours are typically given outdoors in our open-air vehicles when weather permits. Therefore, tours may be cancelled, postponed, or otherwise adjusted if inclement weather is expected. Should this be the case, our guests will be notified. Additionally, if you plan to bring a child under the age of 5 on tour, you must contact our office in advance for further instructions.

    College Preview Day will begin with curbside check-in at the Mobile Townhouse 15 minutes prior to your tour start time.
