Group Tour

Thank you for your interest in a group tour with the University of South Alabama! We are so excited to get you and your students on campus, and have a few things to cover as you complete our group tour request form.

We will do our best to accommodate your request and are happy to discuss any questions or concerns you have about your group tour request.

Scheduling your visit may take up to 7 business days to complete. If you have questions, or need confirmation earlier than specified, please indicate that in the comments sections at the end of the form.
Our group tours are held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Group tours are classified as 10+ students per group or organization, and each group tour must have one chaperone per 10-15 students.*
Our tour guide will board your transportation for the tour.**

* If your group or organization is planning to bring more than 80 students, your request may take longer than a week to review and complete depending. A representative from our office will reach out once your group/organization's tour is confirmed.

** Our staff will board the transportation provided by your group to conduct the tour and must have the appropriate permission documented from the party in charge of the transportation system to do so. Please make sure that your driver is prepared to receive directions and guidance from the tour guide as they are not permitted to drive any transportation utilized for a group tour or board personal vehicles. If your group does not provide suitable transportation, a seat for the tour guide, or permission for the tour guide to board the vehicle, the Office of Prospective Student Programs and New Student Orientation reserves the right to modify or cancel the group tour.

As a reminder:

The tour styles listed below are what we offer for our Group Tour experience. Please choose what will best suit your group. There are other events that our department will host to showcase campus in other ways that we would like to keep unique to student who are able to attend those events.
Groups must have one chaperone per 10-15 students.
We will provide one South Guide per bus/van for the tour. Please note that the South Guide will board your group's transportation to conduct the tour (no personal vehicles).

As the official Group Tour Representative, I understand the Group Tour Policy as outlined above and agree that our group will adhere to the itinerary set by the Office of Prospective Student Programs and New Student Orientation at the University of South Alabama. I will promptly notify usatourrequests@southalabama.edu if changes are to be made to the request I am submitting, and understand that unapproved changes may alter the Tour Team's ability to successfully carry out the agreed upon plan.
